The Sundry tab contains the remainder of the information provided by the native Symbian O/S contacts database. These pieces of data include:

- Birthday
- Anniversary
- Spouse's Name
- Children's Names
- Job Title
- Department
- Assistant's Name
- Company Name

Each of the above items uses an editor that is specialized for the task.

You may only have one copy of the Company Name, Job Title, and Department fields, but the rest you can define as many as you need.

In addition, the Spouse, Children, and Assistant's Name may refer directly to a contact name in your phonebook. By ensuring that you spell the name identically to the way its spelled in its contact, a link will be established between the two. This link will allow you to quickly move to the related contact.

The Spouse and Children fields are not limited to just those family relationships. The tag for the field can be changed to say anything, like Parents, Son, Daughter, etc. The same is true of the Birthday and Anniversary fields, which may be redefined to refer to other types of dates also.

Both Birthday and Anniversary entries display the number of years in question. The Birthday field differs from the Anniversary field only in the way the information is formatted (see example above). These values update automatically so you'll always know how old your contact is, or how many years have elapsed since the given date.

Keyboard Behavior

The right softkey will always say Back. Pressing this key returns to the Name tab.

The up and down cursor keys move the highlight up and down. When you move up from the topmost item, the highlight will move to the bottom of the list. When you move down from the last item, the highlight will move to the top.

The left and right cursor keys are used to move to an adjacent tab. Right moves to the Picture tab, while left move to the Notes tab.

Pressing the TALK key will dial the default phone number of the current contact. However, if the that contact doesn't have a phone number, but it does have an email address, then pressing TALK begins a new email message to the default email address. Note that the email feature only works if you are using a version of ContactsEx that you signed yourself, or you are using a cracked phone that can install unsigned applications.

See the documentation on the #s and Emails tab for details on setting default numbers and addresses. Also see the section on Calling Cards for details on how numbers are dialed.

The END key sends the program to the background and returns the phone to the idle screen.

All other keys have no function in this tab.

Menu Functions

Add Detail: Opens a sub-menu containing a list of all of the sundry items that have yet to be defined for the current contact. Choose the one you wish to add and an appropriate editor will be opened. See Date Dialog for details on entering a data field, or Notes Dialog for details on entering all other types of fields.

Edit: Edits the sundry item that is presently selected. See Date Dialog for details on editing a data field, or Notes Dialog for details on editing all other types of fields.

Delete: Deletes the sundry item that is presently selected. You will be prompted to confirm your action.

Copy to Clipboard: Copies the text of the sundry item (formatted as shown on the display) to the phone's clipboard. This allows you to paste this data into any other application that offers paste functionality.

Change Order: When there 2 or more sundry items in the current contact you will be able to change their display order. For complete details on using this feature, see Changing Item Order.

Goto Item: When one or more fields in the Sundry tab matches the names of contacts in your phonebook, this menu item will appear. It expands to list each of the names that match a contact. By selecting one of these names you will be taken directly to that name on the main tab.

Exit: This option terminates the program.
