The settings dialog is divided into multiple categories so that setting the myriad of options for ContactsEx is less tedious. Along with a series of fixed tabs there are a varying number of remaining tabs, each one named after a profile on your device. There are 3 places you can get to this dialog. The first is from the Names Tab, where you'll find a menu option called Settings. The second place is from the Data Tab, where you you'll find a menu option called Airtime Options. The third place is from the Airtime Tab, where you'll also find a menu option called Airtime Options. The Settings menu item from the Names Tab takes you directly to the General Tab, whereas the other two menu items take you directly to the Billing Tab. Regardless of which tab you begin at however, you are free to move from tab-to-tab. All of the options presented in each tab work in the same way, though they present their options differently, depending upon what sort of data they are designed to collect. To change an option move first to the tab that contains it. Now scroll up or down to reach the specific item and press the SELECT button. In most cases an editor will appear allowing you to make the necessary change. Once you have made the change, press the OK softkey to accept it, or press the Cancel softkey to discard the change. In a few cases (such as the Auto-Answer field) pressing SELECT toggles between one of two states (in this case Off or On). To save any changes you make in this dialog, press the OK softkey. To cancel all of the changes you made to the dialog, press the Cancel softkey. |
