This dialog is used to enter or edit a postal address. Move through the
fields using the up or down cursor keys and once you are finished, press
the Done softkey. To cancel any changes you've made, press the
Cancel softkey. Type: This field defines which of the 3 address types is used for the address. To change the type use the left or right cursor keys to cycle through those available. Note that only the address types that are current unused will show in this field. The types are General, Home, and Work. Label: This is the text label used to identify this address. You may leave the label blank, but only if you a single address for the contact. If you later add a second contact, the original address with a blank label will be assigned a default label. Street: This is the street portion of the address, such as "123 Main Street". Extension: This is the extension of the address, such as "Unit 12" or "Suite 2305". You can leave this blank if the address has no applicable extension. P.O. Box: This is the post office box, if the address in question is a mail-drop. You can leave this blank if the address has no P.O. Box. City: The city in which the address is located. Province/State: The province, state, or region in which the city is located. Postal: The postal or ZIP code for the address. Country: The country in which the address is located. You can leave this blank if all (or most) of your addresses are in the same country. |
